Detailed Description

struct req represents the current HTTP request, obtained from the http object in a custom handler via http_req().

The member fields of struct req are opaque in the public API. Functions for reading properties of the request include:

• method: http_req_method()
• URL path: http_req_path()
• query string: http_req_query(), http_req_query_val(), http_req_query_iter()
• headers: http_req_hdr() (and its equivalents for nul-terminated strings and string literals ) and http_req_hdr_iter()
  • use the http_req_hdr_eq() and http_req_hdr_contains() families of functions to efficiently check the values of headers
• cookies: the http_req_cookie() family and http_req_cookie_iter()
• request body: http_req_body(), http_req_body_ptr(), http_req_chunk() and http_req_body_len()
